thoughtful mind

Just when everyone is enjoying Labour Day, I decided to blog again. How odd.

Yes. Today is a public holiday.
And the labour force, not every single one though, gets to have a break.

I am thinking,
on Labour Day,
how many percent of the work force will actually hang out instead of staying at home.

on a usual Sunday-like-holiday,
I always dabao my lunch from the restaurant behind my house.
They have good food there I must say, especially the Ban Mee and Wan Tan Mee. *no picture, sorry.

But, today I decided to go there and have lunch with my twin sisters instead of dabao-ing,
and I got distracted by a scenario which happened right in front of me.

* A young couple, who has got two kids.
Dad - consuming food while watching tv ; Mum - consuming while playing with her smartphone, scrolling up and down there ; Daughter and son - consuming
Out of a sudden, son spilled the food all over his napkin.

Guess who immediately stopped the ongoing action and stood up to do cleaning up?
Dad was the one.

So how did the mum react?
She just went on with her stuff like it's none of her business.

The moment I saw this, I had a thought.
Is this what the women these days do? or is it that men these days carry the responsibility of taking care kids? or maybe they have a deal before going out, and that is dad, to take care of kids today since is is an official day off for all work force today.
I dare not think.

On a side note,
I am quite impressed with men who have the ability of taking care kids well.

Men out there,
do not only focus on your career.
Do spare your kids some of your time.

Boston, in Klang, not United States

*just when Facebook game: Criminal Case turned me down, I decided to continue with my unfinished post. So here it goes.

Restoran Boston Baru ;
is a restaurant that is situated at Klang town,
that serves Chinese cuisine.

You can reach the place by heading all the way down to Federal Highway from LDP, towards the Klang direction, instead of the Midvalley Megamall direction.

What do they serve?
Chinese cuisine, as I said. They are like 'dai chao' type of business.

What are the 'hot' dishes? or what are their 'Jiu Pai Choi's?
Hokkien Mee, Hei Kor (mantis prawn), and Shiong Tong Lala (steam clams with chinese wine)

What time do they open?
7pm ! so it's either you go early to get seated faster, or you call to do booking before you reach there.

Here is my second visit, this time I have pictures with me :D
I had the same dishes (the usual famous ones) again, with the same gang of friends.
And will still love to go there again next time if I have the time.

their signature noodle

Oh My All Time Favourite Shiong Tong Lala

Hokkien Mee

fried mantis prawn with cornflakes

butter mantis prawn with corns

fried pork lard

Overall,
THUMBS UP THUMBS UP!

Price?
Affordable!

However,
you gotta bear with two things before you want to taste on these food.
- long queue, especially on weekends
- open air seating, no air conditioner

That's it.

Till then.
